Wedding in Egypt

My dear friends Henrik and Shereen got married in Cairo on October 19th. Here are a few of my favorite pics from the wedding. From belly dancing to the main event at the Pyramids of Giza- it was an unforgettable experience! So nice to have the Italian crew together again.

Just got word yesterday that I´m heading back for a week or so to apply for my work Visa. A bit stressed- yes, immune system crashed- yes, but so excited to be back for a bit- Absolutely! Hope to see some of you somewhere along the way. And of course to meet my little Addie!

Home Sweet Home!

We survived! After a long weekend of moving boxes- we´re starting to get settled a bit. And the shopping list is growing. =) It was all worth while on Saturday night when we were able to watch the sunset from the terrace overlooking the city and mountains behind. Exhausted.... but still able to enjoy! Ours is top floor on the left side. Mi casa es tu casa!

She´s here!!!

Addison Grace Richards- our new little one- has arrived! Addie was born on 09/08/07 (an easy one to remember) at 1:40 p.m. She´s beautiful, with a head full of dark hair and as healthy as can be. Suzanne is doing great and it just sounds like the most perfect day! I can´t wait to meet her. 3 weeks seems so far a way!!

Landed.

Made it to Madrid! Have been here almost 6 weeks now and things are great. The job is proving to be quite an exciting adventure. Have been to Copenhagen twice, Portugal, and trips planned to London and Morocco in the next two weeks. Needless to say- I haven´t had too much time to settle in my new home. Ricardo and I found a wonderful apartment right in the middle of all the action. The area is called Salamanca and is one of the nicer parts of Madrid. The terrace has a nice view overlooking the city and the mountains. I´ll be sure to post some photos once we move in (2 weeks). More to come of La Vida en España!
