July 4th with the Richards and Friends

So spoiled! Nearly 1 month later and I´m back to the US!! Who could miss a 4th of July at the Richards´ house? And my super duper baby shower (coming next....) Not I! So I booked my ticket and headed west for 1 last trip home before baby de Abiega arrives. We were sad Ricardo couldn´t join, but so blessed to see so many of my family and friends while I was home on this trip. I love 4th of July at home!

We started with a nice chill day at the pool! These 2 weren´t hot!!

And then nearly a full week enjoying the lake- wish I had a few pictures of my boat ride with the Bowman´s, so relaxing to be on Watts Bar again!

Soooo lucky to have all my aunts and uncle in for the weekend!! and no trip to TN is complete without a stop at Calhoun´s!

Ireland bound

A nice long weekend to Ireland to see Tom Petty! We started our journey in wet Dublin where we met up with Javi, Ani, Artemio, Mayra and Toi. Cute little town, though only seen thru a sideways turned umbrella. After, Ricardo and I rented a car and headed for the West Coast to see a bit of the countryside. No specific plans or reservations, so we took off driving.......

Temple Bar in Dublin, where you´ll find all the traditional pubs and nightlife, though that´s also on nearly every corner

Guiness Factory- they let me change my beer for a diet coke- nice

We started our drive around Connemara, stoping the night at "Singing Mary´s" B&B in Clifden and then off to see KylmoreAbbey and Gardens

Our next drive was around the Peninsula, for more amazing scenery

Next stop, Cliffs of Moher on the Dingle Peninsula

An overnight stay at the honeymoon spot of our lives- or not- we got in late to Kilarney and decided to just get a small room for the night above a local pub. Hmmm on a Saturday night, was maybe not the best idea. Luckily the drive the next day was more than worth it. We spent a full day driving "The Ring of Kerry", Stopping off at Valentia Island and looping back around for 1 last night Limerick

 and so.... it just doesn´t get any better than this. Our Girl´s Weekend 10 year reunion at Grayton Beach! What an amazing group of girls that I get to call friends! Homecooked breakfast every morning, long days lounging at the beach, dinners on the town, a suprise "americana" themed shower for baby de Abiega and watching the others enjoy a few fruity cocktails! Love these ladies.

Myrtle Beach Days.....

The whole month of May.... enjoying the start of summer and some wonderful trips around the South to spend with time with family and friends. First stop- North Myrtle Beach with Ricardo, Mom and Dad. We spent 5 days at the beach, enjoying the sun, dinner at some of our fav´s (Drunken Jacks in Murrel´s Inlet) and a few rounds of putt-putt with Mom and Ricardo.
